Miriam Gustad Jorgensen

Accredited Dietitian, MD

I am passionate about sustainability in regards to nutrition in both sports and the life cycle. As nutrition and food are both a means to an end and a strong social component, I work to optimize nutrition for sports performances with a sustainable approach.

Key working style: practical and natural approach, thorough, creative.

I hold a vast experience within clinical nutrition treating medical conditions such as, but not limited to, coeliac disease, diabetes type 1 and 2, various food allergies, gastro-intestinal conditions, IBS, etc. from three of the biggest hospitals in Oslo, Norway, including Oslo University Hospital. I’m also experienced with pre-season weight management for sports performance.

Torstein Gustad Jorgensen

Exercise/Sports Physiologist

Since I was little I have always wanted to try different sports and practice different forms of movements and skills. This has lead me to value and appreciate, as well as gaining experience in a broad range of sports like soccer, volleyball, tennis, skiing, running, rowing, weightlifting and CrossFit. Safe to say I’m a bit of a hybrid in the world of exercise and sports.

It also lead me to pursue more in depth knowledge on how the body responds to different training stimulus and how to use this knowledge to improve performance. My masters degree in Sports Physiology and Biomechanics has equipped me well in this pursuit.

  • I am passionate about viewing training and movement as a platform for growth and joy. I pay close attention to the small details, while at the same time approaching training with the principle that 'simple is often best.'

Through knowledge on how the body responds to different forms of movement, training can be tailored to the individual to achieve solid progression and results over time.

I always use an up-to-date research-based approach when putting theory into practice.
